This kit is the key to a stable stationary dock. It’s also an important component of mooring ramps. PVC caps fit posts up to 1 11/16″ O.D., while Base Plates accept posts up to 2″ O.D.

Includes two 6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8 in. thick hot dip galvanized steel base plates with half-inch diameter sturdy hex bolt
These ingenious plates allow posts to be passed through a hole to be driven into the shoreline or lake bottom and secured in place, preventing them from sinking further. Levelling of the dock will be done using the dock hardware
The four 7/16″ holes in the corners allow you to add a board underneath for very muddy lake bottoms. You’ll need to cut 2 holes in the plank to allow the posts to pass through
The white PVC Caps protect from steel post sharp edges and add a finish touch to a dock layout
